Biography
Al Anood Al Obeidli, an Emirati visual artist from Abu Dhabi, UAE, specializes in collage, creating pieces that verge on the sculptural. Born in 1990, she obtained her degree in Visual Arts from the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi.
In 2014, she participated in the Sheikha Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation Emerging Artist Fellowship Programme. A member of the Emirates Fine Arts Society, Al Obeidli has showcased her installation work, “Manarat Al Saadiyat” (2017), at Abu Dhabi Art, and participated in various group exhibitions across the UAE, including at the Sharjah Art Foundation, Al Serkal Avenue in Dubai, New York University Abu Dhabi, and Tashkeel in Dubai. Her works are part of numerous private and public collections.
