Biography
Zeina Badran, born in Tripoli, Lebanon, is a Printmaking Instructor at the Lebanese American University. She studied art at LAU and later earned certificates in Lithography, Etching, and Silkscreen printing from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA). She also attended printmaking workshops at ARTICHOKE studios in London and Lahkim Bennani Edition D’art in Casablanca, Morocco.
Badran has exhibited her work in several group exhibitions, including at Galerie Janine Rubeiz and the Salon D’Automne at Sursock Museum. In 2014, she held a solo exhibition at Art on 56th gallery in Beirut. Her artwork is held in private and public collections worldwide, including in France, Saudi Arabia, and the Armenian Parliament in Yerevan. She was awarded the Ministry of Culture’s first prize for Painting at the ‘VISUAL ART FORUM’ in Unesco, Beirut.
