Nehad Saeed is a Cairo-based artist with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a master’s degree in fine arts from Helwan University, Cairo. She has participated in several biennials, including the Biblioteca Alexandrina’s International Biennial for Miniature Graphics and the China Triennial for Miniature Graphics. She also contributed to the heritage revival project “North and South” organized by the European Union and Biblioteca Alexandrina in 2015. Nehad has taken part in residency programs and artist workshops in Egypt, Poland, Germany, and Morocco. She has held solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions across Egypt.

Saeed’s artistic inspiration stems from her master’s dissertation exploring the historical influence of psychologist Sigmund Freud on graphic design. Her abstract style in large ink drawings and watercolors reflects Freud’s existential themes of life, death, and human existence.
