Mahsa Karimi was born in 1981 in Sabzevar, Iran. She earned an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from Valiasr University, Tehran in 2003, an Associate Degree from TAFE University, Sydney in 2007, and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from TAFE University, Sydney in 2010. From 2005 to 2010, Mahsa worked as a skilled illustrator, but since then, she has focused on developing her unique style as a painter. Her work often addresses social issues with a touch of personal experience and an ironic perspective. Mahsa’s first solo exhibition, “Afternoon Tea Will Be Provided” at Azad Art Gallery in 2012, was a significant success.

Mahsa Karimi has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions across various countries, including Iran, Portugal, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, and Lebanon. She continues to create thought-provoking art that resonates with a wide audience.
