Adnene Hadj Sassi


Adnène Hadj Sassi, born in Tunisia in 1961, has been teaching visual arts at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis since 1996. With a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, he exhibits regularly both locally and internationally, receiving the first prize from the Ministry of Culture in 2002. For over a decade, he also led the painting workshop at the Centre des Arts Vivants in Radès. His artistic practice revolves around exploring diverse approaches to familiar subjects, focusing primarily on the expressive potential of the line through techniques like tracing, rubbing, engraving, and concealment in various formats and sizes.
