Fatma Al Shebani, born in Qatar and a graduate of Qatar University with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, boasts over twenty years of experience as a painter, sculptor, and video artist. A trailblazing figure in contemporary art in Qatar and the Gulf region, her works are highly coveted by leading collectors and institutions. Embracing abstraction, Al Shebani explores various forms including painting, printmaking, kinetic art, video art, and conceptual art.
