Ufemia Rizk

Ufemia Rizk studied at the American University of Beirut, Sorbonne University in Paris, and the Fahrelnissa Zeid Royal Institute of Fine Arts, where she focused on art. At Dawson College in Montreal, she expanded her skills in sculpture, printmaking, graphic design, computer imaging technology, and web page design. Rizk’s art is a creation of an inner world aimed at penetrating the mysteries of the universe. Her paintings, primarily geometric abstractions, are an attempt to capture and express a vision of cosmic forces.

Rizk has exhibited her work internationally, with solo exhibitions in Montreal, Milan, Irbed, Amman, Abu Dhabi, Paris, and Reims. Her work is included in museum and private collections around the world. She has received numerous awards and distinctions in France and Japan, including the Medal of the Salon de Paris 3rd International Festival in Osaka, an Oscar with Gold Medal at the World Biennale of Modern Art in Lyon, and a Gold Medal for French Merit.
