Biography
Fathel Neema, born in Kerbela in 1964, is a distinguished artist with a robust educational background from the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, where he completed a post-graduate course in graphic techniques from 2008 to 2009. He is a member of ArtiBrak in Voorburg and Pulchri Studio in The Hague, underscoring his prominent role in the international art scene.
Neema’s solo exhibitions began in 1997 at Gallery Celeste in Vienna, Austria, and have since included notable venues such as Berlin’s Pergamon Museum and the Museum Swaensteijn in Voorburg. His work has also been displayed at Gallery Kolff in Zoeterwoude, Al Urgewan Gallery in Beirut, The Graphic Art Studio in Beirut, and Almarkhiya Gallery in Doha, Qatar. Since 1995, Neema has participated in numerous international group exhibitions across Jordan, the Netherlands, Germany, India, Iraq, and China, reflecting his diverse and global artistic presence.
